Miss Plibersek must be quaking in her size 10's or would she be salivating that Shorten is under investigation & eyeing the top job for herself.
Where is all the female outrage from labor?? hypoctites.
This poor excuse of a man could soon joining be the ranks of the Labor criminal set which is so long one can't fit it on a single page. I suppose this answers the question of "Where is Bill?" these days.

For what it's worth, I think it's just as much a beat-up as that wall-punching incident of Mr Abbotts that the press had such a field day with during the election lead-up.
And wasn't there a huge crowing about that here by the Labbies!?
Should also point out that (unlike this 'incident') the wall punching incident was reported by the victim at the time, had dozens of witnesses from both sides of politics and was general knowledge for decades.

INAM: "the wall punching incident was reported by the victim at the time, had dozens of witnesses from both sides of politics"
I would appreciate a reference (+link) to the "dozens of witnesses" as a quick search of the DY files does not produce them.
"An unnamed witness said he saw Mr Abbott "throw a punch" while Sydney barrister David Patch, who was Ms Ramjan's campaign manager, said Ms Ramjan told him at the time about the incident but admitted he never saw it."
I thought PPTSD was a fairly short lived affliction currently recognisable by blue scars on pink flesh. However it seems the current variant is a long festering version that affects memory functions as well.

i notice you avoided the actual topic of the thread MM . any thoughts ? or are you selective in your criticism ?

Seems to me that there are 2 witnesses prepared to step forward compared to zero for an alleged **bleep**.
And whilst Patch and the unnamed student didn't see the actual punch to the wall, both witnessed the encounter and both saw Abbott swing his fists close to her head. What they DIDN'T see was when Abbott actually punched the wall.. Both witnesses were credible enough to convince Abbott to retract his "I didn't do it" lie.
But that is neither here nor there. I only mention it because comparisons keep being made. So monman, what credence do you give the Shorten story?

INAM, I have not entered the political fray (debate?) bleating here, because the topic is not one that has references which I would regard pride facie as indicating Shorten has any degree of mens rea apropos the alleged assault, but I am always happy to lend my support when the cause has merit and the debate intelligent, both of which are MIA herein.
Needless to say there is a degree of hypocrisy in some of the posts (kangaroo court), and also what appears to be a lot of outright waffle, an indication of pink sensitivity perhaps?.
INAM: "i notice you avoided the actual topic of the thread MM . any thoughts ? or are you selective in your criticism"
Of course I am INAM, when someone writes nonsense I select it for criticism, especially if it is definitive nonsense, e.g.
: "..... had dozens of witnesses from both sides of politics" when questioned becomes:
"......Seems to me that there are 2 witnesses prepared to step forward....."
And would appear to be based upon:
"An unnamed witness said he saw Mr Abbott "throw a punch" while Sydney barrister David Patch, who was Ms Ramjan's campaign manager, said Ms Ramjan told him at the time about the incident but admitted he never saw it."
From dozens of witnesses to just 1, worthy of comment I would assert.
