Archerfield is not considered Brisbane according to Bom..... or it's weather stations.
It's temps are more like Ipswich.

hahaha, well, those of us who live here consider it a Brisbane suburb as does the Brisbane City Council, I am a little further away but still call it Brisbane here.
It's not just the city.................... and the main reason Archerfield is mentioned weather wise is because of the airport there.

Nevertheless, it is a Brisbane suburb, a long way from Ipswich. Check a map.

Not that far from Ipswich, and share similar temperatures.

I believe the issue is that the weather observation stations are in particular areas, Amberley, Brisbane, Brisbane Airport, Archerfield, Logan etc
Archerfield is way closer to the city than it is to Ipswich. (Archerfield is in Brisbane.)
The city is built on the river, the airport is closer to the ocean, hence the lower temps?
(and I am melting at 37 deg)
