Archerfield is way closer to the city than it is to Ipswich. (Archerfield is in Brisbane.)
The city is built on the river, the airport is closer to the ocean, hence the lower temps?
(and I am melting at 37 deg)
No kidding...lol.
Head west it gets hotter..... the hot air today in Brisbane is blowing in from central Qld I believe.

Logan isn't in Brisbane.......

No it isn't, it used to be in Beaudesert............. and some parts of it used to be in Gold Coast. My suburb used to be surrounded by bush.......... but now it isn't.
Amberley is nearer Ipswich............... the airport isn't in Brisbane either.
Semantics. I am 20 to 30 mins from the city.

Actually the Brisbane Airport is in Brisbane...... Hence it's name........
Residence of Logan probably tell people they live in Brisbane...lol........ I hear the Logan Mayor is trying to change it's image.

Neverthless, this is not the usual weather for this time of year.
Plus Brisbane has had abnormally low rainfall for a couple of years.
Old women have long memories.

Brisbane also had it's coldest day this year for 113 years....... do you remember the last coldest day 113 years ago?....

I agree with you, there certainly is a lot of evidence of climate change in the world as well as in Brisbane.

The climate does change.......lol.....

We are very fortunate that the climate changes, otherwise there would be no seasons. And in some highly populated cities in the world the temperature swing is 80, yes 80 degrees Celsius, between the seasons and those millions of people have adapted without too much adverse effects.
