Is Tony hoping for a change in the weather?

I hear it is very hot in Brisbane.

I suppose it is just normal spring weather or could it have something to do with climate change?

Actually no, you are mistaken, the airport used to be at Eagle Farm, it is now Brisbane Airport, a suburb of Brisbane, since about 2011.

Archerfield was mentioned because most if not all of the world leaders arrived and left from there.  A lot of them from wintery climates, and the comment was made that they would be uncomfortable in the unseasonal heat.  Also the comment was made because most of the police and other staff would be working in the heat.

 Pitty they weren't at the Brisbane Airport..... it was only 29 degrees....
