Is a tidy desk the sign of a tidy mind?
Does the state of a persons house (cleanliness) reflect a persons wealth (state of finances)?

and I have just spent the evening clearing and chucking out
I now have all my socks / bras / undies / work pens and scissors / watch etc etc
sorted into different drawers
uniform will be sorted tomorrow to avoid my usual last minute panic - last week I could not even find my undies and socks
and I feel 'peace'
I am tired now but more will be done tomorrow.

and feeling energised, I went into Miss 10's room (she is sleeping over at a friend's place)
armed with garbage bag and vacuum cleaner
and the flippin cat is snoring on her bed.
so that will have to be tomorrow as well - she has somehow spilt ? sequins off something all
over the floor

I am still trying to make the connection to all this tidying to your finances.?:|

just making the point that tidy equals
organised and more efficient
same applies to finances

For you.
For me, tidyness means I can't feel creative. If I'm not creative, I can't design. If I can't design, I can't earn a living.
Horses for courses and all that.

I think mess does equal disorganisation and this in turn equals missed opportunities with finances.
😉
You get it. 😄

I usually have an incredibly cluttered-LOOKING work environment ... but I generally know where each and every item is and can lay my hands on it in seconds. I get absolutely freaked out when I tidy up as then everything is not where it used to be.
I think that there are two kinds of people: surface clutter people like me (where the OUTSIDE is untidy), and hidden clutter people like my mad aunt (where all the INTERNAL places, like cupboards, wardrobes and drawers are in a total mess).

I live in a state of "organised chaos"...looks untidy to others but I know exactly where everything is and like katy can put my hand on it in seconds.
I am 64 so I am not about to change. My finances are fine and I really cannot see the connection to tidyness and wealth.
I used to dread my moher visiting when I was younger as she used to "tidy up"...and it would take me a week to find anything.
My sister on the other hand is a "neat freak"...a place for everything and everything in its place...her home is like a showcase...pity she is so ditzy in every other part of her life, finances, relationships, employment. In her case tidy has not flowed on to any other aspect of her life.
