Is it time for a new political party to replace labor?

After the fiasco of the last six years, the total failure of the Whitlam govt having to be sacked & the miasma of Hawke blundering drukenly through his tenure is it time for the Labor party to disappear just like the Democrats?

The never ending problem for the Liberal/ National parties having to do the hard yards trying to balance the books, pay down the debt, of a wastrel Labor party mentality leaving behind the bottom of the chook pen mess every single time they are in govt.

It's time a new party emerged, free of the criminal union stranglehold, a party that has no strings to be pulled, a party who has to stand on it's own two feet, a party who can hold it's own without the lunatic Greens having to sweep them into office with their preferences.

Labor has done nothing to redress the problems that saw them sacked by the people, they haven't looked at the entrenched apparatchik politiking that saw them wiped out, they will fail every time they are in power if they don't get some values other than power for it's own sake.

here's an inane rusty LNP post. Election Now.!! hey SF didn't the PM say he'd hold a double dissolution election if he had a trigger ?

well he has his trigger, the senate blocked the carbon and mining tax repeals (ha) which is precisely the trigger he named.

So why isn't he going ? he's even breaking promises he made to You by piking out  Smiley Happy

See LL, nothing intelligent or constructive from you, just more negitive rubbish and full and loathing.

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

This is in les sthan four months.

Labor took years to do half the type of damage.

Everything you just listed is a Labor legacy. Nothing whatsover to do with the current govt. As for Bishop angering China??? she was putting our national interst first, Historically we have always stood for freedom of the oceans, obviously you disagree.

You should take a look at all the land mines labor has left for the new gov t. & feel shame for the party you so desperately vote for.

There is a saying in politics....ithere is only so long you can blame the previous Government for your own

incompetence.

Plus you never quite answered why Christopher Pyne, a man who never did anything useful in opposition would not bother to read a report that cst 20 million tax payer dollars to  create ,  before he made a decision?

Is logic something most LNP voters fail to grasp?
Logically someone who earns 500,000 a year should do their job and read a report, make notes what is wrong with the plan and be able to explain to voters why it should be removed.
What he is doing is basing all his decisions on conservative mantra.

Shows he has his parties beliefs at heart rather than the people.

Australia, the clever country?

Re: Is it time for a new political party to replace labor?

Labor went as far back as Menzies in their desperation to absolve themselves for their incompetenace.

Usually a new govt. gets a long honeymoon of up to 2 years but with the feral left wing media & ABC they didn't get 1 minutes honeymoon.

Rudd was so loathed & feared in his 1st term, all the insiders knew, all the press club knew his psychotic nature but nothing, I repeat nothing was reported.

This is a new govt,  just over 100days & they have achieved much to be admired & much more to come. Most of it internal housework cleaning up the tons of regulations Labor stangled the country with at the whim of the unions.

All of you on here who are so rabidly pro Labor should take a cold bath & wait for the big reforms to come otherwise you'll all burn out.

I'm pretty sure you know that "full and loathing" means full OF loathing, soil, soul, but a typo was all you found to rubbish a reasonable comment, very much the modus operandi you use to rubbish the PM, I see.

After today when the real truth of the waste & debt of Labor is revealed my original post  will justifie itself in calling for a new political party for our country, to rid itself of the the Labor party.

The last 6 years we witnessed of the antics of Labor would put a despotic banana republic country to shame. They have to go, they should never gain any kind of foothold of power ever again.

A new political party is needed.

You're right, it's time a new party emerged, free of the criminal big business stranglehold, a party that has no strings to be pulled, a party who has to stand on it's own two feet, a party who can hold it's own without the lunatic Nationals having to sweep them into office with their coalition.

Is that what you mean?
