Is there a special name for a ramekin?

just little bowls to put your mustards and sauces etc in for on the dinner table?

I've got a white dinner set with gold edges, and trying to find matching dishes etc - I just know them as ramekins, but is there a special name?

Thanks

would it matter if the herb names were on the side?

are they a bit cheapish and nasty? (be gentle, I own other bits to this set LOL)

I have some lively little antique silver teaspoons that I use with my trios. Not sure what to search for them as though. I'll go off and look

They have the gold trim and the palm trees do not stand out to much.
