Australia Post has gone mad.
CEO earns Millions, Workers loose their jobs.
Now they want even more money from us?
The hike of stamps from 70cents to $1.- was outrageous enough.
I wish someone would start another Postal Service and get AP out of business.

All fine except for a few things-
Sick of getting notes in letterbox to collect parcels from postoffice simply because postie is too lazy to come to the door and see if im home.
People often work the same hours that the post office is open making it hard for them to get to the PO to collect parcels during the week.
In some country towns the PO is open even less hours

Have you read the comments after the article?
How many people are complaining about undelivered parcels when they were at home waiting for it.
That is one important thing that has to be addressed by AP. When there are complaints about a postie, they should give them a strong warning or even sack them.
We are very lucky in our small town. Our postie will find a place away from street view and leave a note in the letterbox to tell us where he left the parcel.
PO is closed Saturday and Sunday.

Australia Post has said it will drop the “Hold at Post” service if public reaction is negative.
I suggest head over to Australia Post on Facebook, it is inundated with complaints. AP attempted to respond to a couple but now seem to have given up.
What particularly makes me laugh in that article is AP saying they are providing a "service" . What a load of ,,,,,spin.
