Let’s Take
“So what did your labor green socialist govt do for 6 years then?
NOTHING... They had 6 years to do something and didnt.. THEY DID NOTHING
Why didnt they do something? “
Now add
‘A global anti-corruption agency has accused Australia of delaying action on tax evasion by failing to sign an early information swap treaty - part of its commitment to the G20”.
Now does that not mean, that something was being done? Does it not mean that the problem is global and requires a global solution? Does that not mean at one time Australia agreed to tackle the problem at the global level by agreeing to “early information swap treaty” but later effectively stymied the process by failing to sign it?
Then add the fact that these kinds of treaties take years to negotiate, our refusal to sign is a recent event and the current government has only been in office for about nine months.
