I know that, it was an example of potential disgruntled members... I<40 - 51 votes against him.. not a majority but doesn't = loyalty, continuity either.
Abbott's situation is not a result of any past Govt... he is solely repsonsible for where he finds himself at present.

I don't agree with you. I think Rudd caused his own ousting, I think the media caused Julia's, just like they're trying with Abbott now. Nothing much is happening, I'm bored, lets get something going. Sad when others play along instead of thinking about the big picture.

I am not the least bit interested in Rudd.. Gillard,, blah blah.. Labor's fault...
I am not the least bit concerned if anyone doesn't agree with my posts..anyone is free to do that.

Keep sticking your head in the sand and not understanding the bigger picture. The media (forget their bias towards or against parties) drum up a lot of the political turmoil just because they can.

Nev, the media is true to form, it is their business to create sensationalism if nothing else is going on.
what ever happened to reporting? impartial reporting?
The media no longer report the news they create it for their own ends, some readers fall into the trap others don't 🙂

The bigger picture is that Mr Abbott lied to so many people so many times and championed some policies which are anathema to the average Aussie. The bigger picture is that he is so electoraly unpopular as to guarantee an LNP defeat at the next election if he remains as PM.
The big picture is that his colleagues are panicking and want to dump the Albatross, the sooner the better, so that they can begin mending their electoral fortunes. if they ever can recover from the damage he has done.
