I can't believe how quiet it is here. I remember years ago we predicted that the board would one day have so few members left that it would end up like this. At the time it seemed almost ridiculous.

Anyway, hello to anyone who remembers the good old days. I hope some of you are still around.

Yes Freddie. He was 3 when I first joined CW. I've been here 12 years minus a few when I was banned. No wonder I feel such a connection to this place.

My grandchildren worked out years ago what to do when there was no chimney.....leave the windows or doors open.

It is easy to see they grew up in the country with numerous dogs around.   They did not see the need for locked doors and windows at the best of times, much less when Santa was coming.
