Wow, modern tecnology has finaly revealed the identity of Jack the Ripper.
DNA tests show it to be Polish Immigrant, Aaron Kosminski.
(I always thought it was the doctor).

LOL, this sort of stuff just cracks me up, same person went on about the chain of evidence, yeah maybe the defence can use that and have the case thrown out on a technicality, maybe he'll get life instead of the death penalty....oh wait.....he's already dead. Definitely been watching too many tv crime shows.
"How does he know that the original policeman didn't knowingly or unknowingly introduce DNA on it by making the suspect hold it later?"

Yes, definitely time to bring in

I would be shocked if This suspect was guilty as he is well documented and was actually a paranoid schizophrenic with no violent tendencies .He just lived on the streets eating food he found in the gutter as he believed people were trying to poison him.He actually was not locked in Colney Hatch lunatic asylum till 1891 ,well after the murders stopped.
There is some evidence he was confused with another Polish jew Nathanial Kaminski who was a known woman hater and homicidal maniac
Whoever Jack the ripper was im sure you would be looking for someone who in hindsight had violent tendencies and there's just no indication this Aaron was in any way violent .He was not even a suspect till 1891 well after the murders stopped
its very interesting though,I remember a few years ago that shawl was tested for DNA and none could be found and it was dubious as to weather it was real

The Jack The Ripper case should never be solved.
At this point solving it would be like changing history.
Although it all makes interesting reading, in the end it would be a let down.
My guess it's just another attempt for 15 minutes of fame.

Saw a very interesting doco on a Swedich chap and his investigation into Jack the ripper.
This appears much closer on the mark than the Polish chap and his DNA.

I thought it was really interesting . I thought it was a real possibility he may be on to something , It seems very convincing and I will be very interested to see any book he brings out.My only doubt is that I still do not believe the ripper would have just stopped and got on with life ,something made him stop but the guy said he is investigating other killings so I was wondering if he may have had to change his pattern due to family realising something
Facinating though and a very likely suspect
Im realy enjoying that series and was hanging out to see the Jack one

There have been a myriad of books and TV programmes published and aired about the identity of the Ripper, all claiming that they (the authours) are correct. As someone back there remarked, we'll never know. Too much of the Thames has flowed under London Bridge.
There is even an ex Copper touring the theatres claiming he has 'found the culprit'.

I still believe it was the local police at the time. they were the only ones who could get away with it by corrupting the evidence.
