Her choices made are always self-serving to the detriment of others. I do not admire her for this.
Nothing to do with her gender.

No, she doesn;t know anything about domestic affairs. Being Foreign Affairs minister doesn't mean one will make a good PM.
Apart from that she said her aim in life was to be Minister of Foreign affairs, not a PM.... we will see about that....

How do you know she doesn't know anything about domestic affairs ?
Would have far more knowledge than the Qld labor leader.

Wasn't that awful that Julia Gillard had to go through such discrimination. How the tables have turned. I doubt that many male voters would find a female PM acceptable in Australia still.
I'd better get off here. Another lightening storm coming in and I still have three shirts to iron.

you better go ironing!
these things...they make me really homesick.
i love australia but i have grown up in a civilised country and i just can't get used to being regarded as something to be sexually harassed at will by any strange man any time they feel like it.
the thing i don't get is that: if you are so backwarded youse people should respect the ring around my finger. that is the old way isn't it?
yet men combine the worst of both ages.

Plenty of voters would find a female PM acceptable.
Bill Heffernan was an idiot for using those words or in fact making such an issue out of it.
