So in your opinion:

1)What is the 'intended design' for intersex individuals -  those born with with both male and female genitalia?

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

We're talking about little children being deliberately exposed adult entertainers with sexually explicit stage names, reading gender fluidity, gyrating, twerking and carrying on inappropriately. No child, IE a boy, girl or one who gender is not immediately apparent should be exposed to this.

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

For the minority of children born intersex, lengthy consultation between a doctor , medical professionals and the parents will determine outcome.  The main thing is the well-being of the individual concerned.  Keep in mind that gender reassignments have had horrific outcomes in the long-term.

2) Should children be allowed to learn that: "A school of clownfish is always built into a hierarchy with a female fish at the top. When she dies, the most dominant male changes sex and takes her place."

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sure, why not! We're talking science here and after all, the subject concerned is just a fish.

3) Is it OK for pantomimes to have a 'Principal Boy' played by a girl and a 'Dame' played by a man in drag?

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

That would be for parents to decide what their child should be exposed to.

Personally I believe that boy roles in theater should be played by boys and girl roles should be played by girls. It's sad when actors miss out on roles due to someone else unrelated to the role taking the part. It has always been a pet peeve of mine the amount of Latino and Native American actors who have missed out on roles due to Jews and Italians and painted up Anglo Caucasians stealing roles.

4) Is it OK for children to watch anthropomorphic animal cartoons e.g. Bluey?

5) How much identity confusion will it cause if children watch Bananas In Pyjamas?

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's up to the parents to decide. I've heard of those cartoons, never seen them. But I do know that 90% of what children are saturated with is inappropriate.  So some shouldn't be aired.

6) Should they be allowed to believe in Santa, The Tooth Fairy or The Easter Bunny?

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

With Santa, I have no problem. Same as Tooth Fairy. I know that many committed Christians, Muslims and Jews may have issues.  Some Christians reject Christmas as it's a actually a pagan day. Jesus wasn't born in December anyway.  Easter Bunny .... Well, Easter is not a Christian celebration. I know Christians that reject it as pagan due to it being associated with a pagan fertility goddess, estrus or whatever her name was.

The below article is quite balanced and interesting.

Is Easter Pagan in Origin and Roots?

โ€œAll the fun things about Easter are pagan. Bunnies are a leftover from the pagan festival of Eostre.โ€ Hot cross buns are related to โ€œIsraelites baking sweet buns for an idol, and religious leaders trying to put a stop to it.โ€ Eventually, โ€œdefiant cake-baking pagan womenโ€ were successful and a cross was added to the buns to Christianize them.

                                         ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Regardless of Easter's pagan origins and really nothing to do with Christ's resurrection as such, to me as a lad, it was days off school (now days off work) and a chance to have some chocolate. I'd hate to see kids miss out on it. Today it means nothing more to me than that.  God and his son can be glorified without all of that.

Well the_great_she_elephant, today we see kids being modified with the help of chemicals, toxins, bad food, genetically altered food, bad education, bad entertainment. Whatever a person turns into is their business and if they live their life without harming anyone else then what's the problem? Is it OK to influence them in the first place?

@4channel

the post of yours that I am replying to gives me the impression that you are a Christian man, with sympathy for Folau.  Nothing wrong with that.  I would not criticise someone for their religious beliefs.

However, I appeal to your Christian ethics and ask that you apologise to the poster who you made offensive remarks to earlier today.  I wonโ€™t name the poster, you know who it is.  I wonโ€™t repeat the offensive content of yours that has been removed.

Time to man up and say sorry.

The guy I was thinking of that had the horns on his head was The Enigma. But Marcus "Creature" Boykin leaves him at the start line.

I agree, it is a good discussion and certainly an insight into the extreme mindset of people who cannot cope with how they are born.  It's really sad and disheartening to see the kind of damage and destruction a person can do to themselves while thinking it is "decoration".  It leads to early death, severe long term pain and rarely can be treated by medical means, or psychiatric for that matter.

It is certainly sad that they cannot cope with how they were born because I am sure they looked better the way they were born than they look now... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but sometimes the beholder might perceive things in a certain way because of other reasons (including insecurity). To me, they look like out of a horror movie.

And if they don't die prematurely, as you say, getting old will be really challenging with their face and skin sagging etc.

I agree with you papermoon.lady.   We can only hope that more research is done into these kinds of mental health issues which ultimately can offer genuine and realistic solutions for people who suffer in such a way, and I believe they do really suffer.

Yes, I agree. They do seem to suffer. Changing their looks like that probably also gives them a sense of (of course fake) power, but unfortunately by the time they realize what they have done to themselves, it's too late.
