I would be ashamed if that was my child.

Trouble with the likes of Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus is that the younger generation just love them for their rebellious ways of expressing themselfs. The more outrageous they behave, the more fans they will have. Those are the people who pay for their music, their perfomances and pay huge amounts to go to their concerts.

Starting with outrageous behaviour, I think back about Cher appearing in underwear, corset and suspender belts. There are many older entertainers that behave like sluts. Male and female. I ust cringe when Michael Jackson kept grabbing his crutch.

Morals have gone out the window a long time ago, and the young ones are only trying to outdo what others have done before them.

I neither like Bieber nor Cyrus, but then I am an oldfashioned old lady that grew up with decent entertainement and no smut. Music you could enjoy and songs you could sing in front of your young children. Shows that were a delight for the whole family. It's all gone. Woman Sad

Good on you Erica you told it like it is and I admire you. So called entertainers, the young ones, they  think entertainment is flashing their bodies and spewing forth obscenities, well it's what they've been put up by their managers who tell them it's cool and they don't know any different.

Sadly our own young folk have been desensitised by the entertainment junk media to think the same.

I'm happy for Justin Bieber he's getting out of the limelight and trying to get back to some normality. I hope he succeeds.

Oh and I have no trouble with the size of your font. In this case, size does'nt matter.

Oh and congratulations, Bob, you've got yourself another hotly contested thread!

See!? You didn't need religion after all!

This ain't my thread.

ok I just checked that and my apologies.

Re: Justin Beiber.

If you are looking at my posts you would see where I stated I have been a member for many  years and have just returned to selling hence a posting id. Nothing funny or unusal in that.  You really should get your eyes tested if you think the type was huge.  And you should really stop swearing at other members.

Anyway, this is turning both infantile and repetitive.  It is hard seeing someone attacked over something so trivial.

Re: Justin Beiber.

How do you know I'm not older than lind? You don't. And the postings are too big. They suck up most of the page, specially if it's a long post and it's not necessary. This is my opinon and one that I am entitled to have

Just as others are entitled to be shocked and disgusted by it.

There is another poster here whose posts I - and I'm sure others - sometimes find difficult to read. None of us would ever be boorish enough to criticise him though, because he has explained that he suffers from dyslexia.

Intolerance of other's disabilities is an extremely ugly character trait.

Re: Justin Beiber.

HiHo has been around for donkeys years. Yes I know she's newly registered, but she's used an id that is recognisable to long term members. She's not trying to hide.

I don't find Ericas font too large, for me it's easier to read.

Maybe you can change your browser to make it smaller rather than demanding Erica change hers.

You know, I didn't demand anything. I posted that it was annoying to me. I didn't call anyone names either. Seriously, it's a public forum only for some?

Re: Justin Beiber.

THIS IS SHOUTING!

A large font is just that - a large font.

I couldn't give a rats as to what size people use to write, as long as it isn't the tiniest size because then I can't read it.

If you don't like reading larger type - just don't! There are lots of other threads that can do with the attention.

Now back on topic - IMHO JB is a product of his "fame"- enough people pandering to your every whim would corrupt most, and as he was still a child when it started he has stayed just that - a spoilt child.

Re: Justin Beiber.

it's a public forum for all, which means that sometimes not everyone posts exactly the way you would prefer them to & everyone has equal rights here to post as they wish as long as it's within the guidelines
