About time - long overdue.

What about the Community Activist who says he (Noor) is being treated unfairly when he was just doing what he was trained to do. Does she mean he was trained to kill the unarmed civilians he was supposed to protect? These "do-gooders" that never do any good really rile me.

He has been granted bail. $400k but was only required to fork out $40k to be released. He's on strict bail conditions and had to surrender his passport.
What a bleeding joke!!!!!
This 'murderer' will be lucky to see inside a jail!

Justine Ruszczyk's killer to go to trial
A former US police officer who fatally shot an unarmed Australian woman who had called 911 is set to go on trial next April.
Early this morning a judge found probable cause for a criminal case to proceed against Mohamed Noor.
He is charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond. Noor was fired by the city following the July 2017 shooting in the city of Minneapolis.
Judge Kathryn Quaintance also declined to suppress Noor's psychological records from his police training.
Damond's father, John Ruszczyk, has filed a $50 million civil rights lawsuit against Noor, the city and others.
It accuses the officers of conspiring to cover up facts surrounding the shooting and of deliberately not activating their body cameras until afterward.

dont you love defence lawyers, argued charges should be dropped 'as he was just following police guidlines'
so they rekon police guidlines are when you get scared you shoot anything that moves?
kinda reminds me of in the movies when the hero hands a fully automatic machine gun to an idiot and says if you see something bad just pull the trigger. the idiot then hears a noise and empties the gun on everything!

Justine Damond given first aid by Mohamed Noor's partner in video seen at police officer's trial
"Police approaching Mr Noor turned off their dashboard and body cameras so that no account was given before Mr Noor spoke to a union representative."
this is how police cover up crimes by police officers, its the 3 monkees defence, saw no evil heard no evil did no evil.
if the police are given cameras to record everything then they should not be able to switch them off.

Mohamed Noor's partner tells murder trial he wouldn't have shot Justine Damond Ruszczyk
the police are not looking brave or honest in this.
it reaks of lies and covering up.
it will be interesting what the result is at the end of the trial.
the police are hell bent on making it her fault.

Of course.
She frightened the poor little things by thumping on the back of the car.
Which is what Aussies do.
If he gets convicted, there'll be outraged cries of 'He only got convicted cos he's a black man who shot a white woman.'
