I saw this football sized image when flying into Melbourne, the plane nearly listed sideways when someone spotted it with so many people wanting to get out of their seats to look.
The whole plane erupted into the loudest laugh I have heard for a long time.
Offended or not it was great to see almost everyone on board nearly wet themselves.
It is to be removed next Tuesday which is after the game on Saturday night so it has achieved what it was put there for :^O

Its called an Aussie sense of humour, sadly thats something we are losing because of the over the top PC brigade who are humourless and want all of Australia to be that way.
Its excellent and a great play on words and very well done to promote an excellent sporting event and is so very typical AUSSIE humour..
Go the WALLABIES..... ๐

I do not feel offended, but I certainly feel embarrassed that this is how our city greets international and interstate visitors. It is crass, I think Melbourne is better than that, and I do hope it will get removed soon.

I think it's well done and funny. Good to have a laugh for a change.
And the main thing is it can't offend young kids.

Fox - they did try to suggest the kangaroo was just cuddling the Lion, poor explanation because the message was quite clear but I am still laughing because who ever made it up has a typical Aussie sense of humour and we Aussies are well known for having that so we should not curb our humour for anyone.
