I saw this football sized image when flying into Melbourne, the plane nearly listed sideways when someone spotted it with so many people wanting to get out of their seats to look.

The whole plane erupted into the loudest laugh I have heard for a long time.

Offended or not it was great to see almost everyone on board nearly wet themselves.

It is to be removed next Tuesday which is after the game on Saturday night so it has achieved what it was put there for :^O

True. But I still think it's crass.

I'd hate to have seen the aussie outrage if the situation were reversed.

I personally don't find it offensive but it is embarrassing given it's location.

It makes us look like a bunch of hicks.

Oh dear picky picky, nothing better to do than to pick someone up on a small mistake, yes I meant football field sized image, now do you feel better ?

Obviously did not make any difference to the game, Australia lost because the goal kicker slipped over when about to try and kick the winning points, maybe karma ?
