Her facial colouring looks dark and grey which seems accent the bags under the eyes etc.....makes her look as though she's been a long term smoker and old

The right eye looks gammy now and she looks very jowly

I would not be happy if that was me - looks like a painting from the future - 20 years in the future.

Her skin looks awful - like she is a long term smoker

I can only think the painting is meant to be seen from a distance eg across the room

and would look better at a distance

Many artists paint what they see...not what we may see. In art class we were told never to doubt what we drew.....my sketches  always added 30 years to a face lol

Have any of us ever seen a really happy photo of her?  She always looks strained to me...
