Khaled Sharrouf was born in Australia, as was his wife. Do (did) either of them have dual citizenship and do his children have dual citizenship? If they don't, how can the Government strip them of their Australian citizenship and refuse them re-entry to Australia?

Why should other countries be responsible for Australian citizens?

If it doesn't then should the law be waived and a precednt be set allowing it to do so? And what might be the possible dangers in setting this precedent?
valid question (obviously)
at this point i think it is necessary in order
to stop australians from going overseas and
fight against australia.
and in case they would have no intention of
ever coming back - maybe it would stop taking
their children with them.
But how do you know that waiver would only ever be used against Australians going overseas to fight? Once you allow a government to put themselves above the law of the land how do you stop some future Government from using that same power for other purposes?

Exactly - this is a problem for asylum seekers - boat people.
They have no papers - so to put them back on a plane to where - they say tey came from - is one thing.
For that country to accept them - totally - another.
A point that seems to be lost quite frequently.

depends on your belief
some believe 'martyrs' go to paradise
consequence or reward ?
depends - doesn't it

No. Completely different. How appalling to compare asylum seekers to terrorists.

And bear in mind, Steve Ciobo declared on Q&A on Monday night that he would be happy to see ministerial authority to strip someone of their citizenship extended to suspected terrorists within Australia. Who decides what constitutes terrorism and without recoruse to the courts, who evaluates the validity of any suspicion?

And yet we have a government who does it with regularity.
"we have to stop the boats arriving, there might be terrorists on board"

There was no comparison - simply paperwork.
Get a life.
