You do know your books are in your account forever? and you can reload them yourself? I have deleted some and can reload them.

No, I didn't know that, I was halfway through the  "Man Of Wax"  trilogy & was really into it so I'm so glad I got all my books back.

I got a little cover with a built in light that runs off the kindle too, it's fab.

I have a very generous OH, he just orders me stuff & it arrives as a big surprise.

mum of goldens- i was getting the free 'Yesterday's Gone' ones, but got so into it that i couldnt wait and decided to buy the others. When i saw they had put episodes 1-6 all together and then episodes 7-12 together for only $4.99 eash set, i just bought the lot.

My big boofy Golden boy jumped on the bed last night, his front paws landing right on top of my Kindle. I heard a crack and now all that I view is either black/grey, or lines running through the page. Only 1/4 of the page is viewable. The screen itself is okay, I'd say it's the motherboard or electronic bits inside that broke.

Dear OH felt so sorry for me [I was honestly crying cos I'm very attached to my Kindle], and we went to DSmith this morning and he purchased a new Kindle for me, the 3G/WiFi touch screen one.

So now I'm in the process of slowly putting back the 999 books I had on my old Kindle. Then I have to sort out which ones I've read and organise them back in the folders I had them in the old Kindle.

Sighhhh.

I want to rearrange my folders slightly.  Does anyone know how to delete an empty folder?  Or how to edit the title of a folder?  I can't find anything in the help section on my Kindle.

Duh!  Don't worry - I just saw the "Rename Collection" and "Delete Collection" functions.   Why couldn't I see those before I asked 😞

I have 30 to read and i think thats too many. I have to force myself to stop looking on pixels of ink
