I have been wondering how your kitchen was going Azure!!
I noted down the cocoa sand bench tops and have been hanging out for a pic.
That was weeks ago...sooo some hold ups by the sounds of it?

Only time hold ups, all finished now except the tiling of splashbacks and some cornice to replace above the hotplates where the old rangehood was. ๐
Pics when that is done! I really like it.

Did you re tile the floor?

about a 1/4 of the floor as the kitchen used to be u shaped, now it's galley style.
Another hold up was...................... I added to it again. An over the fridge cupboard and surround that was not on the original plan.

It all sounds lovely ๐ I dont have over head cupboards, didn't want or need them, so now I have to figure out how high to put the tiles behind the cooktop and along the rest of the kitchen bench. ATM it's one long blank wall, which has just been re painted

I am tiling up to 80 cm high. There is an air con in the way or I would go higher.
Tiles are easier to keep clean than painted walls so I say at least hand reach height.

Thats what I have been thinking, really only want/need this height over the cooktop, but not sure if it would look ok that way
