Aww my 14 year old son just happily paid for a Kiva loan out of his own money. I suggested it to him after showing him the one I did last night and he didn't hesitate to say yes.

Just a little bit proud that he did that :-x

Ooops I forgot to post this earlier, bit of an update with our Kiva goal, we have until 23rd October to reach 300 loans.

Yay!!  I just received a bonus free loan because of my last one so I have to do that now. The bonus lasts until the 8th June.

I just want to say in case anyone is thinking of joining, please don't be put off by the number of loans from each member.  Mine are fifteen but I originally started with just one.  Then I did a couple more, but many of my loans are just relent to another borrower once they are paid off so I didn't actually have to pay for them all myself if that makes sense.

On track to achieve the 300 by deadline I think.

Amazing what a little more than a dozen members can achieve ... will have to try my hand at recruiting others to recycle their dosh too !! 

I am surprised that other boardies have not checked it out and jumped on board, certainly more rewarding than the same ol' same ol'

Hi Paintsew.  One you are registered and signed in with Kiva, click on the Teams link at the top.

In the search box type in Community Spirit.  You will see which one is our team.  It has this picture as the emblem/avi

Then click on the Join Team button.  Easy peasy.
