Aww my 14 year old son just happily paid for a Kiva loan out of his own money. I suggested it to him after showing him the one I did last night and he didn't hesitate to say yes.

Just a little bit proud that he did that :-x

Have joined kiva.....am up to p.17....in attempt scrolling to locate avi - is there a quicker way to locate CS team pls? note there are nearly 29,000 teams .....e.g. category-business/club/Friends etc? type of team-open/closed

At the beginning I loaned mostly to those that have short repayments, that way I could re-use and reloan faster meaning more get the benefit. Enjoy.

I've recently had my delinquent loan paid out it full, it was a pleasant surprise as this is the longest that I've ever had a loan as delinquent. I really didn't expect to see the rest of the loan paid out.

I guess we'll have repayments coming in again over the next few days, they usually come in around the 17th of each month.

Thanks for sharing this program. I made a loan, and I donated a small portion(optional) to the recipient. 

This program is a great idea. 

I love the idea of picking a person, or group, and supporting a specific business venture. It's very inspiring to see how hard these people are working to make a living.
