Kyle and Jackie O Dethroned

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O have been dethroned as king and queen of Sydney FM breakfast radio by Jonesy and Amanda.

WSFM's Jonesy and Amanda are the No.1 FM breakfast show in Sydney with 10 per cent of the audience share, up 1.8 per cent, according to the GFK radio ratings.

Sandilands and Jackie O on KIIS106.5 have lost ground, down 1.4 per cent to 9.5 per cent.

Meanwhile 2DAY FM, Sandilands and Jackie O's former home, continues its downward slide, dropping a further 0.5 per cent to 3.6 per cent in the last ratings survey.

2GB's Alan Jones maintains the overall breakfast radio crown with 15.1 per cent audience share, down 0.4 per cent from last month.

No surprises there, Kyle and Jackie O are the most potty-mouthed, irrelevent d1ckheads on radio and it's an absolute pleasure to see them lose to Classic Hits radio station presenters, Jonesy and Amanda.

Probably doesn't mean much to people not living in Sydney, I know, but I hope Vile Kyle and his ditzy sidekick stay on the downhill slide and eventually disappear.

And I hope Kiis that used to be Mix realise that sleaze and techno beat sound does not a radio show make.

Interesting to see Alan Jones tops the list, I didn't think anybody much listened to him.

I have had the pleasure of meeting them both a few times and they are lovely - down to earth, unpretentious. 

JO is pretty much as she is on the radio. Kyle is much more likeable.

Nope. Everyone at their new network likes them including Jonesy and Amanda who have to share their space.

Ironically Amanda Keller is probably the most aloof of the 4.

Be that as it may, Martini, but their behind-the-scenes personae are not in question.

Their on-air crudeness and vulgarity, arrogance, and otherwise irrelevant topics and techno music mix do not make their breakfast show worth listening to in my opinion.

I know many ppl find their crass style funny, thankfully not everyone, as evidenced by the ratings.

We as the public who don't know them personally only have the 'privilege' of knowing them by their bad press, bad with good reason.  Kyle comes across as an arrogant unfeeling prock though I hear he loves opera so that is a plus for me.  But only a very small plus.
