LGTB in Christianity

Do you think it's possible to be LGTB and a Christian?

 What about other religions/faiths/beliefs?

Note: Please don't be nasty! Whatever your personal beliefs, I didn't start this thread so you could offend each other. Please be nice and try to be understanding. This is a public forum, anyone can read what is written here. Thanks!

He also made hermaphrodites - whenre do they fit into the divine plan?

They have the freedom to choose how they live.

We all do, not just hermaphrodites

So, as far as you are concerned, God would be quite happy for two hermaphrodites to each other - as long as they didn't both choose to be the same sex at the same time?

If the definition is correct, then they don't have a choice; "a person or animal having both male and female sex organs or other sexual characteristics, either abnormally or (in the case of some organisms) as the natural condition". It seems that they're "both" at the same time. Although I seem to remember reading something about snails being hermaphrodite, while still being able to select their dominant gender. I don't know, She_ele, it's all very confusing. Then God gets brought into it and I, a humble Sunday school dropout find myself entirely out of my depth. LOL

I'm not entirely sure what I think of the whole situation. Like I've said, it's not that I'm against two people of the same sex being together, it's just that right now my personal conviction is that it's not right for me and my own beliefs.

Unless you are gay or lesbian it's not a choice you actually need to make.

They don't. Not really. There's no divine plan.

They are unfortunately caught in the randomness of Nature.

They have to get by as best they can. And they do.

Well it's all about beliefs isn't it? 2 horny ppl of the same sex BELIEVE they're in love and BELIEVE they have the right to demand equal marriage rights.

But is your belief that it is not right for you, or that it is not right for anyone?

I also believe very strongly that homosexuality would not be right for me. However, since it has no harmful effect either on those who practice it or society as a whole, I would not presume to dictate whether or not it should be right for anyone else.

That's a bit rough.   Love is not just about being 'horny' or we could apply that to opposite sex marriages in exactly the same way.
