Labor & Disastrous Nielsen poll dip.

Rather than the nasty "Game on" from Miss Gillard it looks like "Game over".

Even in Victoria it looks bad & could see the loss of 5 or more seats including so called "safe seats" are in jeopardy under Miss Gillards catastrophic leadership.

I wonder if there will be dancing in the streets after we see the demise of her & her ilk like the disgraceful antics & comment we are seeing from the left at the moment.

I know there will be great celebration in our street after the Sept. election. but there won't be singing of "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" our street has more class than that.

Nielsen poll dip.

Today's Nielsen poll, published in Fairfax papers, shows support for Labor slipping below 30 per cent for the first time in 10 months.

The poll puts Labor's primary vote down two points at 29 per cent, while support for the Coalition has risen two points to 49 per cent.

On a two party-preferred basis, the Coalition is ahead on 57 per cent, while Labor sits at 43 per cent.

Opposition Leader Tony Abbott leads Ms Gillard in the preferred prime minister stakes 50 per cent to 42 per cent.

It is the first time Labor's primary vote has slipped below 30 per cent since June 2012, before the carbon tax was introduced.

The poll follows a big week for Ms Gillard, who has also announced a strategic partnership deal with China and an overhaul of Australia's superannuation system.

Fifty-two per cent of those polled opposed the superannuation changes, despite the Government saying they would only affect about 16,000 of Australia's top earners.

i didn't say it wasn't true at all, i said that the result has a 3 per cent margin of error, which means there may have been no change.at all.

i do accept the reality. i know people are gullible and easily led, even if it conflicts with their own interests. 🙂

Safe Labor seats tipped to fall

CONFIDENTIAL Liberal Party polling has exposed diving support for federal Labor in key Victorian seats with once unwinnable electorates for Tony Abbott turning against the ALP as voters reject Julia Gillard.

The polling shows the Liberal primary vote has surged to 48 per cent in the Melbourne seats of Chisholm and Bruce, with the two-party-preferred result in both seats at 56-44 per cent in favour of the Liberal Party.

Labor's primary vote in Chisholm, held by Labor Speaker Anna Burke, has fallen to 29 per cent while in Bruce, held by Labor numbers man Alan Griffin, the ALP primary vote is down to 32 per cent.

The Australian understands the private Liberal polling shows a five percentage point turnaround in Chisholm - on the two-party-preferred result - in the past six months.

The Opposition Leader has visited both electorates at least three times in the past few months and he plans to repeat the on-the-ground offensive in the run-up to the September 14 election.

The latest Nielsen poll, published today by Fairfax newspapers, also contains little good news for Labor which has seen its primary vote fall below 30 per cent to 29 per cent, the lowest since last June while the Coalition's primary vote rose by two percentage points to 49 per cent.

On a two-party preferred basis, the Coalition leads Labor 57 per cent to 43 per cent. The internal Liberal polling shows the Prime Minister's net satisfaction rating in both electorates has fallen below that of Mr Abbott, The Australian understands. Bruce is held with a margin of 7.7 per cent while Chisholm is held by a margin of 5.8 per cent.

LL the poll is a Nielsen poll & published in Fairfax not News Ltd. Blaming the media for the rock bottom Labor has reached is  not correct.

This poll is just one of many that have the trend for Labor going down for the last few months. A trend that the polls are showing  & a 29% showing for Labor is nothing short of a wipeout.

A few bad polls can be discounted but a trend like is deeply worrying & the desperation of the back benches is palpable, the statements & leaks have not stopped against Miss Gillard.

While I can understand your fright & desperation to defend your beloved Labor at all costs,  there must surely come a time when the penny finally drops to what is staring you in the face at what is ahead for Labor.

This is an election year & this is what the people of Australia are saying, they want this gov gone & they can't wait to vote it out.

The next worrying thing for Labor is what can they do now? can they go to election with a deeply disliked & distrusted PM? or will we be subjected to another unedifying spectacle of musical chairs on the Titanic? while the country is left to fend for itself best it can.

Opposition leader Tony Abbott now leads Ms Gillard as preferred prime minister by a solid 8 percentage points, 50 per cent to 42 per cent,

Maybe the labor luvies in the media should come onto this forum to do their polls as this seems to be the last tiny tiny  pocket of undying support for Gillard and Labor  by fanatical one eyed supporters.

Also thinking that offensive pictures of Mr Abbott is clever just reinforces  the mind set of some on the left who think it's OK to to dance on the graves of some & slime others of the conservative side.

Heaven forbid if the other side did it, hypocritical comes to mind here re  these offensive cartoons. I don't see any Miss Gillard offensive cartoons here & if someone had the affront to post one the howls & screams of outrage would be deafening

If the left cannot articulate a decent argument for themselves best to say nothing at all or go onto a Labor leaning post, there's plenty of them on here.
