More of a puzzle to me is where a box of chocolates, BLT, chicken & cheese rolls fits into a stict 'bean' diet.
Now look what ya did! I just have to have a BLT for dinner now,
followed by lotsa choklit
You can make your BLT at least a little bit healthier
by using the w.watchers bacon (meaty end only).
Put it between paper towel and microwave for 20-30 secs.
longer if you want it crunchy No need to fry.
Use avocado in lieu of butter.
What's not to love?

it's called Halal
and anyone only consuming halal would know that a quality chocolate contains no animal products and would therefore have no need
to be halal
and the same would go for Kelloggs cornflakes , Weetbix ,Nescafe,Vegeta and a multitude of other products
that are now Halal Certified in Australia

But there's very little fat in my BLT.

This thread was about Lindt chocolates, the OP threw in that it was Non Halal.
Not so......................
We all post threads related ...and unrelated.... to our previous threads.........................I took this one at face value..........
I will check in with you in future before I address threads, shall I?
I agree with you, Az. If people don't say what they mean then others are going to assume they mean what they say.

That article (assuming you read it) says just as much about abattoir practices in general as well as Halal-specific slaughter.
Sadly the cruel practices identified in that article are not much different to the way animals are treated in Australian abattoirs - and that makes me sick too.
What is your point ?
Are you inferring that I would not object to this behaviour ? Wrong
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been to two different abbatiors in Australia and have seen NOTHING LIKE THIS IN THE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS
NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY LIKE THIS
Thanks for the capitals, certainly added more gravitas to the argument. The fact that you have been to two different abbatiors (sic) is admirable, however you must have been living under a rock to have not read recently about DISGUSTING CRUELTY TO ANIMALS IN AUSTRALIAN ABBATOIRS.
