Someone about 100 years ago is my guess. No idea who, specifically.

I guess you also missed the lack of tattoos, piercings, outlandish hair colouring and hair style.
They look just like most of the kids I know; it could have been my daughter's class (few years ago).

This fun day was organised by some of their teachers and involved the kids as well it was not compulsory and the organisers and participants gave up their time to make it happen.i ask again can you imagine a scene like this in our education system?
I did not miss anything, your post makes no sense; "participants gave up their time" ? WHAT! the kids gave up their time to have some fun? And all in the "educational system"? Wasn't it you who said somewhere that the problem is that we worry too much about the kids being happy? And you did not answer me when I asked what country it is, since you are saying that these kids are not part of our educational system.

I would guess it was some notoriety or philosopher from long ago, with some alterations to suit modern language.
I have to wonder if they meant by those words what I have been saying in this thread?

It's amazing the human race has managed to survive a further 2300 years or so.
