Lithium Moderators need to allow the political discussions to free flow

To the Lithium Moderators

You need to allow the political discussions to free flow a bit more for the duration of the campaign  🙂

As this is only a 5 week election campaign finally I am hoping that there may be some bi-partisan support from both sides and that the Lithium mods may relax the rules a tad or stretch the rule a bit to allow for some robust and friendly Aussie banter between the different sides.

I am hoping that both sides may try and be kinder as the wonderful leader of the Labor party would like to see..

Lithium Moderators please you need to allow the political discussions to free flow a bit more for the duration of the campaign  🙂

🙂 🙂

Hi nero, looks like you are the lone person on here atm who is a conservative & at the mercy of the  pack attack by the luvvies.

Keep posting & don't let them drive you off, you have every right to be on here & every right to post what you like re the election.

It's just a shame that the luvvies hate what you post so they report you & every other conservative every chance they get.

its the mods removing the bleep. they must consider it unsuitable..  they consider a lot of mine unsuitable as well. material from crims like larry is probably too tacky for the board,  as is a lot of the poor taste shown by haties.

I disagree. I think they should monitor your posts more closely to ensure we can all peacefully discuss our political views without being labelled luvvies etc.

IMO it's offensive to be bombarded with copy pasted advertising from off-eBay right wing radical bloggers. It's spam and advertising.

It's also offensive that people who speak up against the political copy paste spam get called names. I think lithium should bleep some of those terms & insults.

I don't mind copy pasted info if the OP adds an opinion and invites discussion or debate.

Now that the election date has been set, I expect the LNP will be making their policies available to all.

I would like to see political discussion comparing each different parties policies... education.. superannuation.. etc NBN...posters posting what they like/don't like about those policies. Views from both sides.

Cut and pastes from certain news outlets, mostly denigrating the Labor party, don't give any information about WHAT the LNP is going to do better if they win the election and  details of how they are going to achieve that.

I don't think so Am.

Graeme Morrison (did Howard REALLY employ him as an advisor? The mind boggles...) said on Q&A last night  that at this stage they don't have any policies (apparently the Real Solutions booklet is only an umbrella document) and they would release them closer to the election date.

I think you should be happy NW.

If I had have started the OP or posted some of the posts I'm almost positive that when LW was here I would have received an email saying that my post was a champaign against ebay and/ or related services or something like that
