I have had a few posts removed, each time I have received a courtesy message explaining why it was removed, and have been able to communicate with the mod - yes, a real live person, not a bot!!! .
Let's hope they continue this trend and don't resort to liveworld's inept system.

It appears that it is a fact (not just opinion)
that posters have some issues they'd like addressed (some have been posted about 1st on New Community boards and then also in a thread on CS ... a poster recognised that the fact is that there was a concern for some posters and contacted lithium and reported back on how to resolve the issue).
Regardless of if members issues/concerns are about groups, tags, private message report facility, multiple id's, or anything else all our concerns would I'd suspect be equal in the eyes of ebay/lithium ..and that's what matters

That clashes with my belief that ebay and Lithium are working too slowly to rectify anything and incompetance comes to mind. I've corresponded with Live Help and other ebay staff about an important issue. First no one knew anything about it. Now their technical staff are investigating it - too bloody slowly.

I think if the new mods actively read the boards, it''d be a good thing and would practically make the report button obsolete ( I hope that's not off topic here)
. It's great to see a mods posted on the other board about the groups & it sounds like it should be resolved soon.so hopefuly all those who can't access their groups will be able to get back to normal.

i think you are right about the mods reading the boards and seeing for themselves what is going on rather than relying on an oft times biased report, and that is a great improvement on how Liveworld operated.

I hope so pepe. I think it would be a vast improvement on the way things were. Hawk made post further back that made me wonder about it

If being off topic is seen as the major issue on a non ebay related Discussion board (on ebay)
which also has long running threads where posters post about whatever they wish.
and the style of moderation is that a whole big chunk (lots of posts by lots of posters) of a thread just goes missing and all those posters (who posted within that chunk) are all notified ...
and earlier posts remain and can be seen to be 'off topic' I fear that we may be minus some paddles .

I can't and won't agree with an Opening post just to stay on topic

you don't need to agree with it to stay on topic.
