I agree, I just hope he's with someone who's taking good care of him.

That poor little guy. : ((
I would think that if little William had wandered off the police dogs would have picked up a scent of some kind. It is sure looking more and more like a kidnapping....or foul play of some kind. But again......if the parents were somehow involved I find it hard to believe that the dogs or the police wouldn't have found some evidence of that by now? Hoping he will be found alive and well soon.

Police have stopped the search for missing toddler William Tyrell on the NSW mid north coast.
About 70 police and volunteers finished the marathon operation in dense scrub on Sunday, and authorities will now focus on information they have received regarding the boy's disappearance from his grandmother's home in Kendall.
Investigators are looking at "human intervention" as a possible reason behind William's disappearance.

The thing i find odd about this case is that right from the start the following statement was made in several papers ,"'William has a complicated family history and, for legal ยญreasons, his family cannot be named."" Only a family friend has spoken to the media ,the parents have made no appeals or been shown in photos .
What sort of situation would require ,even in this exteme cicumstance -that the family's identity be kept secret ? Witness protection scheme ,other legal matters ? no -one in the media seems allowed to ask any questions about this either .Just wondering.

Good on the media for respecting their anonymity if that is the case.
However, that massive search was necessary. And that little boy is still not where he should be.
Perhaps another thread could be started to discuss the reasons behind anyone wanting to be anonymous. I don't think it should be done on "Little Boy Lost".

I wasn't aware of this, but now it all makes sense.

My post wasnt meant to cast apersions on anyone -no matter what their situation this is a terrible tragedy for this family -Im sure any past history would be considered by the invesigating police anyway -its just another rather baffling feature to this case .I hope this little boy is found safe and well .

Yet the boys full name has been in the press since day one.. William Tyrell is his name so I suspect that the family name must be Tyrell
But yes its very odd that no one has seen a single member of his family on TV, in the papers or anywhere. Not a single picture of the parents or the gandmother.... Now thats very odd and there is way more to this story than whats being said.... Although it does seem that the police have ZERO idea as to whats happened to the poor child.
