In this picture he looks quite chubby, the picture they showed of him taken about 1 hr prior to him going missing he looks a lot thinner and smaller. I haven't seen any pictures of the family nor have they thanked the searchers.

Lots of kids shed bit of puppy fat when they start really running around between 2 and 3.  And is it a bruise?  It might be a smudge of dirt or a shadow; there is same colour shadow on his chest.  He looks like a confident happy child.

And how do you know they haven't thanked the searchers?

He might of dropped some of the"baby fat".... they change shape around 3-4 years old.

I thought maybe the parents were keeping a low profile, however one report did say they were searching? 

As for the different pics, sometimes it depends on lighting, distance, haircut.............

I live 20mins away and there has been no TV footage of the family on our local news, but I believe  the Father has joined the search.

It might be a shadow, I hope you are right, but if you look at the large photo, it looks like a healing bruise.

Whatever, the outcome seems very bleak.

I magnified it.   It's yellow and blue.

Might be just a normal thing. Playing, someone's elbow in the eye.

I agree it's a bruise, I have a photo album full of pics like that ! my grandsons are very active.

As a 4 yo my brother went missing from our yard at 9am, police searches turned up nothing. At 6 pm, a neighbour found him asleep on her verandah, on a day bed.

Hope this has a good outcome... and soon.

His little sister might have kicked him in the face..... as little children do...  they are the most violent members of our community.
