Hi all. It took me ages to get the courage to write this. I recently moved to Victoria, know no one, and am extremely lonely. I am a STRAIGHT married woman, but am at the stage where it is a marriage in name only. I am a young at heart 62 year old, look after myself, love a laugh (and a cry if needed LOL). I just adore my 3 little dogs, who are my best friends and the loves of my life. I love shopping, trash and treasure markets, my computer (which I'd be lost without LOL), cooking, music, etc.etc. I'd love to meet other women to have a coffee and "yak" with, go shopping with etc. etc. I am very down to earth and non judgemental...I have had tough times in my life and judge no one. Soooo...if there's anyone out there, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you for reading my ad, have a nice day and take care.

Yep, I knew you were being helpful.
I see people every day meeting in my local park with their dogs off their leashes..
I love to see all the different dog breeds playing with one another..

Hi cav, all of sudden you have a bunch of new acquaintances to keep up with.
The ebay community is mostly a friendly place with the odd punch up which seems to keep everyone entertained anyway.
Careful though it can become addictive and you find yourself spending too much time on the computer.
I am a Melbourne chap, originally from Denmark and enjoy helping others here on the boards while being a hobby seller on ebay.
Although I am probably considered one of the girls here as I am not really gender biased.
Mostly sell notes and coins and stuff for the neighbors and friends whom are computer illiterate.
AND, my favorite dogs are CKCS's. Never had one but have always loved them.
If I get one I can't decide between the Tri and Blenheim.
Is one better natured than the other or has less genetic health issues, if you know?

Straight out of New No Idea.
Um.......... why No Idea?
My two best friends now I met taking my dogs for a walk in the local park when I first moved here. . And yes, we are all or were cavalier owners. I've made other friends there too.
Cavaliers 123 unfortunately I'm in inner Melbourne or I'd invite you and your cavaliers over like a shot. for a cuppa and
a Schmakko or three.

Yes, nicnacs, you were the one that started the first Victorian meeting. It was fantastic to be able to meet such a lot of wonderful people. Well, and at the next one we even met up with the gentle giant Hawk and his wife, from South Australia and Purple Carrot Top, the gypsie traveler, who I think normally lives in Queensland.
Perhaps in the New Year we could arrange another meet?
I would love to get to know some more of our lovely CS-ters.
And with a bit of luck, Richo will forget his shyness and finally join us.
Have a fantastic weekend all.
Father Christmas is watching.

If you hang around here and join in there are a few boaries that are within traveling distance.
I have wondered around through SA where I live Vic and NSW and met around 12 people in the time I have spent on the boards some are now quite good friends.
If you want a quick outcome then you should look at joining clubs in your area
