In my opinion, he's just another "same old, same old" religious charlatan who has no idea about the real world. He lives in a self induced fantasy realm where he believes religious training and garb give him infinite power on behalf of his god and bible to tell the rest of us how to live.
I can never understand how people so willingly get sucked into (and pay for) such rubbish. It's not rocket science to figure it out in 60 seconds!

People's fear of the unknown fuels their desire for hope, certainty...
People want good news, people want to know that their future will be bright...
And people will pay good money for the vaguest of reassurances...
