Just popped in to add my love & send condolences to the people of Paris as I was sure there would be a thread started already, but as there isn't, I'll start one. Such a sad & chilling day, not only for Paris & France, but for the world

Je suis tellement désolé pour la misère et l'horreur qui est arrivé au peuple français.

"The near-simultaneous attacks in Paris that killed at least 127 people and wounded more than 180 were an "act of war" organised by Islamic State, says France's President Francois Hollande."
So, I wonder if that means France will step up attacks on Islamic State?
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

And I tend to agree.
president hollande:
"And our fight will be merciless, because these terrorists that are capable of such atrocities need to know that they will be confronted by a France that is determined, unified and together."
"Faced with dread, there is a nation that knows how to defend itself, is known to mobilise its forces and, once again, will defeat terrorists".

So very sad, and regardless of who or how those fires started, it really highlights the fact that these atrocities really do insight more hatred.

I have just heard this morning that some extended family who live in Paris are safe and well. It's been a very worrying night 😓
