My heart just melted at following. Thought I would share with fellow poster-ers:)
What does it say about -nature vs nurture !!!
There people in some parts of the world from threatened environment, persecuted, discriminated,
living in houses pock-marked with bullet holes, walls blown off, rubble...
and yet when given the chance of a safe environment, a chance of a better future... what do people do?
maybe we should learn from these animals...
If unity is strength, what can we say about multi-culture?
The tiger did not have encouragement to maintain being a tiger, neither did the bear nor the lion...
they know who and what they were, the difference is, they are lavishing in their new environment and are working together.
They came from a background of abuse and fear.
Now they've bonded together and are truly inseparable.
THE BLT (Bear, Lion and Tiger)
This Lion, Tiger, And Bear Are Most Unlikely
Gang Of Friends You'll Come Across
This is Leo the African Lion,
Baloo the Black Bear
and Shere Khan the Bengal Tiger.
The threesome were rescued as babies
from the basement of an Atlanta drug dealer’s home
when it was raided by authorities.
They were starving, traumatized, and had bacterial infections.
Since then, they were brought to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary…
Where they’ve lived in the same habitat together for 13 years.
The only time the three were separated
was when Baloo was sent to surgery.
While at the drug dealer’s home,
Baloo had been mistreated soprofoundly
that the harness that was put on himhad grown into his skin.
The two cats were distraught and cried for the bear’s return
when he was at the vet’s.
Since then, no one has separated the group.
They had clearly bonded
during their earliest memories
and never wanted to be apart.
Now they live together
as if they were brothers of the same species.
They play together,
nuzzle one another,
and are extremely affectionate.
The threesome are the only
lion, tiger, and bear living together
in the entire world.
They’re just that exceptional.
Humans could really learn from the bond that these three have.
No one ever told them
they couldn’t love one another,
so they did just that.
And now, even all these years later,
they continue to do so.
Love conquers all

(this isn't original - I pinched it from one of the comments to the news article in the link - but I totally agree with it!)
"Why can't humans learn to get along like this?" They most certainly can.
"Is there a lesson to be learned here?" There most certainly is.
Give humans a safe, comfortable, pristine living environment, with plenty of room to move around and freedom to pursue their favourite activities. Give them as much of their favourite food as they care to eat, free health care for life and exclude anyone who exhibits any disruptive personality traits or hostiliy towards others.......in other words, if you dreate a living environment for people that is equal to these diverse animals.......they will get along just fine!.
