A faithful dog whose owner died months ago still turns up everyday at her church hoping she will return.

Tommy, a 12-year-old German shepherd, has become a local fixture at the Santa Maria Assunta church in Puglia, southern Italy, the Ill Messaggero newspaper reports.
Every afternoon at 5pm when the church bells chime Tommy heads to the church, as he did with his owner, and goes and lies down at the altar.

Even "human" movies where it looks like something's going to happen to the animal I can be found hollering at the TV "WHERE'S THE DOG? SOMEBODY SAVE THE DOG!!! (or cat/bear/horse/whatever).
I'm the same! I can watch movies with humans getting killed, and it doesn't affect me.. I see an animal getting killed, I cry like a baby... I still cry in that bit in The Neverending story where his horse sinks and he's yelling at the horse to fight it.. Every damn time it gets me. :_|
