Very sad but 96 is still a good innings.
He , and all the others in the show, gave us so much pleasure.
MASH is still one of my favourite shows.

I loved MASH, but couldn't look at Harry Morgan in the same light
when he was charged with beating his wife in 1996
Google 'Harry Morgan domestic violence'
He avoided jail time by doing an anger management class.
The obits seem to have whitewashed that part of his life.
Sorry for the disillusionment, but I have no time for wife beaters

Can't say I knew the man, but I liked the character that he played, in MASH.
He was good to Sophie, his horse.

Like most of us, Harry Morgan was not perfect throughout his life, but has been spoken of highly and fondly by those who knew him and worked with him. Personally, I experienced much pleasure in watching him play Colonel Potter in MASH. RIP Mr Morgan.

We watch the M*A*S*H reruns every night and I was only wondering yesterday if Harry Morgan was still alive.
