Has your legal background given you access to police files? You seem to have an awful lot of information that no-one else here is privy to.

Having read most of the information available my case theory is this:-
The did say it is a 'theory'.

hence bill and margaret having custody of 3 grandsons (even though the boys have other siblings/ sisters in care elsewhere
That doesn't mean all the children have the same father. Therefore, some might be living with different foster parents or paternal grandparents.
Fast forward 2 weeks to sep 28. A report on the central coast of nsw from a caravan park of hearing a little boy crying in a cabing that was hired out to a middle aged couple. Apparently this call out to police is what led to the investigation focussing on bill spedding.
Don't think that is correct. Family member (one of the women he allegedly assaulted as a child in 1987?) called the police after William went missing and told them to look into Spedding. I read that in an article yesterday, if I find it again I will post the link.
So far, there is no evidence that Spedding abducted William.

I don't know whether Spedding is guilty or innocent. I really hope that he is guilty otherwise a terrible injustice is in the
process of being served
I do wonder how channel 7 knew he was being arrested and had a film crew there to record the incident given that 1 hour after they received the received historical investigation information from a relative they attended the house and arrested him. ( it was shown on the local news with sound grabs)
I wonder why prosecutors did not seek a suppression order to protect the alleged victims identity?
has anybody heard much about the news item below?
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-32281860
Australian man faces 145 child sex charges 13 April 2015
Police say the man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, targeted children on a variety of social media sites, using names including "Jazz", "Jazzman" and "David Bourne".
The case was briefly heard in the Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday.
or this one
http://www.brokenrites.org.au/drupal/node/223
Background
The ex-priest (who turned 61 years of age in mid-2014) allegedly committed the offences in the 1970s and 1980s while he was living in Armidale and Moree.
Name suppressed
"At the October 2012 hearing, Magistrate Mark Richardson ordered that the man's name not be published, so as to protect the anonymity of the alleged female victims.
For legal reasons, courts frequently make this kind of non-publication order, especially at the earliest hearing in the prosecution process.
Such an order can be reviewed later when the prosecution process is further advanced."
Guilty plea on some charges
During 2014 the prosecution selected 76 charges for the eventual proceedings, with the remaining charges being discarded.
On 7 August 2014, the ex-priest pleaded guilty to 45 charges but not to 31 other charges.
Publishing the ex-priest's name?
At the end of the November 2014 hearing, the crown prosecutor requested that, as the matter is now going to a possible trial, the magistrate should remove the non-publication order that has been preventing the accused man's name from being revealed.
However, magistrate Stafford refused this request as the defence had not been notified of the application.
[It is possible that the question of non-publication could come up again when the case comes back to the court system in 2015.]

The trial by social media result is in.
I certainly hope that nobody who posted on this facebook item on the attempted child abduction alerts page link
to the Spedding story ends up on the jury if Spedding goes to court

I am sure I read that somewhere re: the call out to police regarding a child crying being linked to BS; so will post if I can find the link again.
Can I also comment that:
- the caravan park was in laurieton- the same town BS's 'unit' is located right?
- the caravan was rented to a middle aged couple from vic
- BS is, in addition to current charges, being investigated for crimes in vic
- the caravan was searched within a few days of BS's properties being searched.
I wonder how BS's victims knew he was connected to the william case in order to provide the tip off? Is it the case that he shot himself in the foot contacting the victim for a character reference, only to have her go straight to the police?
The "victims" did not "tip off" anyone.
The investigators would have known about the assault history from very early in the case, within the first couple of days. They would have had the names of everyone who had been anywhere near the house and would have done checks on all of them, visitors, family members, neighbours, tradesmen, milkmen etc. That is why this man was targetted early on.
How does one know from a toddler's crying the gender of that toddler?
My "theory" is that the police know who the involved person is, but they have yet to find the proof.

I agree with your theory polks..
