... and when he said he wasn't getting much of a truffle taste in the entree .... cue camera shot of his plate being taken away .... complete with large shaving of untouched black truffle ....

Re: MKR Thread

I think last night's contestant tried too hard to be clever and failed because of that.

Re: MKR Thread

Agreed. They concentrated far too much on the science and not enough on the food.

Don't they realise that there's a very good reason you don't see salmon served with either vanilla or cinnamon?

The dirt was a straight up copy of one of Hestons tricks, Heston would have put bacon with the desert but it would have been "made" of something else.
I LOVE Heston!

Blerk, are these two trying to break the "how many times can you call someone baby in an hour" record

Re: MKR Thread

Well they broke one record.

They got 27 the lowest score ever.

Re: MKR Thread

Totally disgusting food. The soup looked like a plate of yellow glue. Why did he kill a great looking piece of pork?  If he was going to use mushies, surely there are more exotic ones that he could have used for a better visual presentation.  The next two will have to be really bad to get less than 27.  I know that this is entertainment tv but surely they can get some people who can actually cook.

BTW does anyone know if the kitchens and dining areas are really their personal homes?

Re: MKR Thread

The contestants use their own kitchen if they are suitable.  David is using his own.  Harry and Christo use one of the parents houses.
