Oh dahhling, of course they won't be! They're from the country. They have loads of lovely flowers from the country. And Mother is the Lady of the Manor, from the country. They're from the country you know!

Re: MKR Thread

And they cooked like they were from the country.

With two nines and two tens from the judges and 38 from the other guests and a total of 90 put them top of the list.

So the captain and his trophy wife are on their back to Cairns.

Thank goodness.

Thank goodness for them!

I wish they would shut up about the freaking "country". They are not the landed gentry, so they should just shut their flappy mouths.

Glad that boorish womaniser and his latest floozy are gone.

"Trophy wife" he called her!

He should've called her "Someone else's wife". Dirty old man.

Re: MKR Thread

I am so glad that they are gone. They couldn't cook and neither of them were likeable. Although, I don't think much of last night's duo, either.

Re: MKR Thread

I think I might have lost concentration watching last nights ep or maybe my brain started to shrink or something..
it was the word 'perfect' over and over and over and over and over that did it...

Can I ask- has anyone, in the history of cooking, in the world...
ever brushed egg WHITE on pastry to glaze it??? And these people think they can cook?

Re: MKR Thread

I couldn't believe they used beaten egg white either I said to OH that will turn to unsweetened merengue! And it did!
Anyone know how old "the captain is? I was so angry at him calling last nights contestant "the old lady" how rude!
Someone on face book said "trophy wife? That's a participation ribbon!"

Re: MKR Thread

I noticed that with the egg white but then when I checked the recipe on the MKR page they changed it to a milk wash.
