Re: MKR Thread

Just read in one of the magazines (I don't buy them but read it at Gloria Jeans so not sure which one), that everything is scripted right down to clothes, hair, makeup, menus cooked at home and script.

I guessed that and believed it even more when the nasty Sophia from last year was on Dancing with the Stars and was actually lovely.  Hope they get paid well for their reputation being muddied.

Re: MKR Thread

yes, i saw an article saying the wife in the cheese couple is told to wear plaits in her hair and plaid shirts to appear more farm girlish. She said she never normally dresses like that or wears her hair like that

Re: MKR Thread

BUMP !

I read today that the filming of MKR contributes negatively to Climate Change.

I also read that there are subliminal messages exhorting us to accept that GM foods are good for us.  Man Tongue

But seriously .... I do watch the occasional footy game, particularly those involving my favourite team, but why do they take precedence over my enjoyment of MKR on a Sunday evening ????   An irrelevant (Victorian teams only) game that has no bearing on anything in the mighty South Australia ?  Why ???

Re: MKR Thread

I had to laugh at it last week. Hubby and I played Spot the Bandaid. The bandaid was there, then it was gone, then there were two, then there were none, there was one, then there was none.  It was the show where the Walcha ladies were cooking against the two blonde girls. I wonder how many times they cook the meals to get all the photo shoots right.

Re: MKR Thread

The Facebook group I'm in, that watches and chats while the show is on, play a drinking game with the band aids. Whenever someone sees one they have to shout (type) BLUE and we all have to drink. It gets quite messy some nights LOL

Re: MKR Thread

LOL, that sounds like a fun game Lurker. And you never know if the same bandaid is going to appear twice or not. Amazing how quickly they heal.*snort*

I might get a few shots lined up and play along with hubby tonight

Re: MKR Thread

It's a pretty dry argument so far. I haven't seen any blue.
