Re: MKR Thread

Now you have me confused! If I remember correctly, it started last Sunday night then ran each night until Wednesday, which constitutes 4 episodes, but now that you mention it, there have only been 3 meals judged so far. Maybe episode 1 was explanatory, with no cooking involved... I honestly can't remember (Jim Beam has a lot to answer for). ๐Ÿ™‚

However, I do know that the Queensland boys are having their episode replayed at 7:00pm tomorrow (Saturday) night, and that's the one which Bump initially missed. They did a really great job, and I don't just say that because I happen to be a Queenslander as well.

Yep, I think you need to have a word with Jim.  There have definitly only been 3 episodes so far, starting last Monday.  First was the cheese couple from the Hunter Valley, then the Canberra dittzes, then the surfer dads (which I also missed, so thanks for the heads up about tonights repeat).

The Block started last Sunday (I think?) so maybe you're thinking of that?

Re: MKR Thread

Do you have any idea how difficult it is these days, in the absence of newspapers, to search for a TV program which screened a week ago? As far as the on-line guides are concerned, it's ancient history.

None of the on-line TV guides retain information once the day's viewing is over, and the only printed guide I get here is provided in the local paper, except I bin it almost immediately.

However, as is often said, Google is my friend, and it took no time at all to determine that episode 1 of MKR screened on Monday, January 27, exactly as you said it did.

Go lipstick power, the girls did it because they chose good strong lipstick colours, we of the over-red lips are pleased that they have done so well tonight.

Re: MKR Thread

As far as Kelly & Chloe are concerned, I'm really hanging out for Wednesday night's episode 'cause I'd like nothing better than to see those two nasty cows crash and burn, and the next time they decide to go travelling overseas, I hope they stay there!

I realise it's a competition, but whatever happened to the concept of good sportsmanship, let alone good manners?

Im not a fan of Kelly and Chloe but i really think clever editing is making them appear worse than they are

Plus they are following a script and playing the roles they were assigned to play when they were chosen for the show.

Re: MKR Thread

Last night was rigged.

Im sorry but that couple did not deserve the scores they got. The contestants scores were fair but Manu and Pete were clearly scoring so that this team would not be on the bottom of the ladder

The entree looked shocking.

The main was nothing special at all

And the dessert was a chucked together trifle that took over 2hrs to serve up.

And everyone is having a go at the WA girls, yet, each time they have scored the meals very fairly.

Deb and Rick, on the other hand were quite harsh with their scoring and based on what i saw last night, was prob cause they know their cooking was no where near as good
