Maggots found in cooked steak at Sydney restaurant filmed and shared on Facebook
Must be some very tuff maggots to survive being cooked,
i smell a rat may be involved here.
beware video does show live maggots dancing on a steak.

I dont have to watch it, I've seen it before... first hand.
If i hadnt seen live maggots on freshly cooked meat myself, I wouldnt believe it either.... but i have.
New years eve at Wyangla Dam in 1992. (NSW)
A group of us youngin's (8 of us) decided to spend it cahooting at the local waterways. With our ABBA tape and our boombox tape deck, tents and bottles of ouzo, we were set to PARTAY!!
We had just cooked lamb chops on the fire (open bbq plate) and one of the girls was chompin away, when she discovered maggots coming out of the meat! (erk.... i almost lost my innards)
.................................. (two things in this world can make me puke! sputum, and maggots)
Obviously, the meat had been blown prior to cooking, but being on the inside, gave them some protection i guess, and then once the heat source was removed, they headed up for fresh air i guess.... It was absolutely disgusting! (puke puke)
Needless to say, the whole batch of chops were tossed to the wildlife!
I cant speak for the validity of the face book post, but i can get another 7 folk to bear wittness to what i just mentioned.
Maggotts..... tought little buggars, especially those Australian made ones!

very very possible to have been blown prior to cooking.....

Thank you for that Jane - a new vegan here.

The restuarant claim the maggots where probably laid after the meat was cooked. ....W..E..L..L...... Thats even scarier .................because as every farmer knows........... flies first lay eggs which sit for a day or two before hatching into maggots........... So was the steak cooked a couple of days before being served and then re-heated ???
