60 minutes exposes the level of corruption and illegal activity within the Labor party
We all know its been going on for years. Now its time for Labor to stand up to the criminal element that controls the party and call in the police to have the offenders investigated and charged. Its not just the Labor party that is affected, its a manipulation of the fundamental democratic processes in Australia. We are all victims of Labors criminal element.

Media reports at the time stated that the rape allegations related to an incident while Bill Shorten was a uni student. A team of police took twelve months to complete their investigation and then forwarded the case to the director of public prosecutions. The public prosecutor reviewed their findings and stated that due to the length of time since the alleged offence had occurred, there was not enough evidence to proceed to trial. He noted that this was not any form of acquittal and if further evidence came to light at a later date, the matter may be reviewed and possibly brought to trial.
One would have thought that if the whole thing was made up, the police would have concluded the matter in a very short time and announced that they where taking no further action or Bill Shorten would have taken the matter to the civil courts to clear his name. Neither of these have occurred and the allegations remain unresolved and hanging over Shortens head to this day. He has never taken any action to legally challenge the claims and put them to rest.
Very strange for a man who wanted to be Prime Minister.

This from the left biased ABC that the lefties seem to hold as a reliable source.

Note that no-one is claiming Shorten has been cleared of the allegations ( except Shorten ) , only that the Public prosecutor would not be taking the matter to trial. Other reports at the time stated this was due to the length of time ( 30 years ) since the alleged incident occured, meaning there was not enough evidence to proceed to trail.

oh look... a mew branch stacking story
The NSW Liberal Party has appointed a former ICAC executive to investigate claims the minutes of the local branch of Prime Minister’s right-hand man Alex Hawke were doctored to secure his power base.
The party head office has been in internal turmoil since being made aware of allegations that Mr Hawke’s factionally-aligned heads of the Baulkham Hills branch in his electorate of Mitchell changed the minutes to block the memberships of 10 new conservative members.
Had the new members been recorded accurately at the meeting — held in a western Sydney funeral home — Mr Hawke’s Centre Right faction would have lost control of the branch, potentially putting his preselection in jeopardy.
very little media fanfare over this one though

And then the topic dried up
Seems the LNP are just as guilty. Who would have thought!
