Me too purplecarrot-top.  I'm enjoying it more this year than I have for the last couple of years.  I hope the ratings will be better now that they are not running against the other cooking show.

Some of the guest chefs are really good.  It looks like Marco Pierre White will be putting in an appearance and I love watching him work.

Re: MasterChef is great tonight!

Welllllll what did you think about tonight's show?

Some fantastic cooking for a first group challenge but it made me certain that I picked a different career path Smiley LOL

Can you imagine the pressure!!!

Give me my home kitchen any day!

Yes, there goes my cooking career plans too.  How stressful!

I reckon a school canteen job would be the way to go.  Smiley Very Happy  That is pretty much what I would have liked to do.  To encourage them to eat well and make it yummy.

My God, are older people just stupid? Remember in the earlier episode, older people trying to do stupid things and not making the top 21 and then this one tops it off.

What a challenge and what a huge risk!

Making three different dishes out of the schnapper would have flummoxed me.  I felt so sorry for the young girl who was in the pantry some ten minutes or more into the cooking time - I would have felt the same way lol.  Didn't she end up making a great dish though?

Fish head curry????? PASS!

Kudos to the lady who remained true to herself - even if it did result in her going home.

Re: MasterChef is great tonight!

What a night.  Major dramas, MasterChef and then Offspring.  How many times can Offspring make me cry in one night.  I do love it Smiley Very Happy

You know what mathew bob, I do agree with you. I was thinking exactly the same thing in fact.  The younger ones have a much better edge.  They think fast, and can switch from one task to another and they aren't weighed down by the old ways.

Nothing against the lady that lost tonight but she was pretty silly to put it all on the plate in more ways than one.

Fish head curry, YUM. YOu're missing out if you've never had it. The juiciest part of the fish is in the head.
