I've only seen one episode so far this season. Might have to catch up soon. I used to put it on at work but I've been crunching through the data allowance too quickly of late and don't want to upgrade plan at the moment. ๐

PCT I only just saw your earlier response. Thanks for the explanation ..... I had no idea what it was for and my question was not intended to elicit personal information
I wondered whether Steven would make it though as his cooking skill appeared to be very limited. I guess that could have been the result of the editing as he must have produced some worthwhile dishes to get chosen initially.
I love cooking too but would never contemplate a dish like the one in the elimination. My BP would go through the roof lol

Great show tonight! That challenge was huge - I cannot imagine having five minutes to cook something acceptable and winning with those mild chillis let alone 30 minutes for the hottest ones.
They did really well considering.
I really was hoping that Tash would win the immunity pin tonight - she certainly showed persistence in getting that chicken rub just right.
Looks like another interesting show tomorrow night judging by the shorts.

We don't get the American or Japanese ones here Sineater. Years ago when my boys were little they used to love watching a Japanese one called Iron Chef.
It was really quite funny. My goodness. The Japanese chefs did take it very seriously.

an ebay friend lives in japan, and years ago she sent me some dvds of a show called"apron of love",with the same judges that were on iron chef.
it was sort of a parody, and hilarious! you just haven't lived until you've seen a young girl in a fairy costume chasing a squid acroos the floor into the audience, lol!

Puts hand up for the US one
all 4 seasons
can't wait till season 5
i was so glad when Luca won season 4
The blind girl - Christina? OMG! from season 3
......................................
I watched the first Australian season and then one other first episode where they all peeled potatoes in the rain, and watched right up to the episode where a guy with MS cooked for Magie Beer and then left shortly after. and that was enough for me.
(I liked the guy and was sad for him that the format didn't suit him)
