OMG, that John is soooo frustrating.

He doesn't listen and then still doesn't listen and smiles.  pulling-hair.gif

I'm not sure how anyone can think the team that cooked off last night shouldnt have been there. they are all only as good as the dish they cook on the day and Geogia was the only one to cook a dish without mistakes or omissions in that last challenge, therefore her team wins. I knew they'd won as soon as she got all the elements on the plate and the judges couldnt find anything to complain about.

I think Matthew would have won last night if he'd done the double chop.

Billie should win in the end, she's definitely the calmest under pressure.

Here's hoping Jessica goes for but does not win the immunity pin and that Georgia and Sara join Matthew and Reynold in the elimination round and Georgie and/or Sara get eliminated lol

I like the sound of that.    I feel better now.

Stawks, I think mtnlane is right.

There will be others to join Matthew n Reynold in the elimination round.  Phew.    At least I hope so.

Re - Furby's doll..............................Oh, you are awful, but I like ya. Smiley Happy

Punch, you're right. It's the final product that counts. And WE, tend to look at overall performance.

So the truly good ones should shine through.

In a team challenge I thought there were other factors to consider - their teamwork and timing for example - rather than just the dish they served up to the judges.

Georgia served her dish to an unspecified number of guests without a very important element

Jessica served up cold lamb and very late into the bargain.

She also ran out of smashed potatoes.

A couple of fish scales which I think George said were no big deal given they just dissolved

The donut Reynald didn't put on his dish

A couple of undercooked tortellini

There may have been other things I missed and both teams made mistakes but the teamwork of the losing team was far superior to the winning team in my opinion.

I would prefer to go without the donut rather than have cold lamb served late (without smashed potatoes)

It was funny wasn't it.  When they were eating the fish meal they were raving about how beautiful it tasted and how well the fish was cooked and then during the judging all they did was knock it for a couple of scales.

Oops - I forgot that the prawns cooked by Sara were not perfect either ...... cannot remember how they were described (stressed though being put into water which was too hot because her time management skill was lacking) and I could not be bothered watching it again to check, particularly since it would involve watching Furby again.

Another strike for the winning team in my opinion.

They said that the prawns were tight.  I'm not sure what that means.  I think Youcan explained that term but I've forgotten again.

Tight prawns seems to be a very on trend word.  On trend is a very on trend phrase too.

Tight is when the muscles constrict, which is what happens

if you throw prawns into boiling water.

They should be poached gently, to stay soft and supple

Yes j*oono thanks - that was the term they used .... as I said I could not be bothered going back to watch.

I knew why they were described that way and what the effect was if not the exact word lol

Caught and cooked enough prawns in my life to know the result Smiley Wink
