I look in the mirror as I brush my teeth, and still see canine teeth. I am not totally domesticated, thus I eat meat.

Becuase I enjoy it and I'm too lazy to bother getting protein from other sources

Because, as a human, I have a carnivores mouth and digestive tract.... not a herbivores.
There are major differences between the two.......humans are designed to eat meat.....so I do....
Except we're actually omnivores and not carnivores.... As humans we actually have digestive tracts better suited to a plant based diet

My DIL is a Buddhist.. she was very ill and doctors thought she had MS, after extensive tests they admitted they had no idea what was wrong with her until my son asked about her no meat diet.
She now has to eat meat. Not a lot but some............ her health has returned to normal. It's hard work substituting for meat.
Not if you're prepared to eat things that you might not have normally eaten as a meat eater.. Such as chick peas, lentils, mung beans etc.. All of these have lots of protein and fibre. You can get the required amount of protein and iron from plant matter it just takes a bit more effort, you can't just eat vegetables and expect to get all the required vitamins and minerals.
Have you ever had a BBQ with a lot of meat and felt really sluggish and tired afterwards? (and not just from the beer) This is because your body is working extra hard to process all the excess protein that your body got instead of doing more useful things like healing and regenerating.. More protein doesn't always = better, your body can only process a certain amount without slowing down

If we don't eat meat what will all the farmers do for a living?
we need to eat up so that all those in the meat business will have jobs.
Isn't that the reason the Catholic church introduced no meat on Fridays to get the fishermen more sales?

No, it's about fasting and abstinance. Not eating meat is a penance, you don't have to eat fish instead.

Well, according to the bible, the animals are there for humans to use as they please.
